The AVerTV Combo G2 (White Box) is a DTV Ready Next Generation PCI Express TV tuner card, that allows you to watch one program, while recording another, or record two programs Simultaneously! It’s a Combo tuner, so it has one tuner for Analog (NTSC) and one for Digital broadcasting, Over-the-Air, (ATSC) or Unencrypted Digital Cable (ClearQAM), designed to receive these signals, directly to your PC! It comes equipped with the industry leading Analog chip-set components from Conexant, as well as the second to none Digital chip-set components from LG Technologies.
The AVerTV Combo G2 (White Box) has an Analog TV tuner with Hardware Encoding and 3D Comb Filter and a High Definition Digital TV tuner all on one PCI Express card. With advanced Hardware Encoding, you will be provided with superior true color picture images, with low CPU consumption.
The Combo G2 (White Box) also has Gaming Plug-in, an advanced software developed by AVerMedia, that allows the user to Plug-in-Play game consoles in real time, without the latency problems, associated with Windows Vista Media Center. Users can also enjoy AVerMedia ClearQAM Tools, the work around that enable ClearQAM support in Windows Media Center.
In Windows Operating Systems, including Windows 7, users will have full PVR functions, optimizing their Analog and Digital entertainment experience. Users will have the ability to Pause and Rewind live TV, as well as Record, Schedule Recordings with interactive TV Guide and TimeShift.
