School Essay Contest Offers Teachers and Administrators the Opportunity to Win One of Five New AVerMedia AVerVision Document Cameras for their Classroom
MILPITAS, CA - (January 30, 2006) – AVerMedia® Technologies, Inc., the leading provider of digital multimedia and presentation technology announced today the launch of an essay contest offering the chance for teachers and administrators to win one of five new AVerVision Document Cameras for their classrooms. The contest requires teachers, administrators or their students to compile a 100 to 300-word essay describing how a document camera would benefit their classroom.
Four AVerVision Document Camera prizes will be given to the best and most creative essay submissions. The Grand Prize includes a choice of either the AVerVision530 Visual Presenter (MSRP $1,499.99), or the AVerVision330 Portable Document Camera (MSRP $1,199.99) combined with a projector. First prize features the AVerVision300p (MSRP $999.99), Second Prize features the AVerVision300i (MSRP $799.99), and third prize features the AVerVision130 (MSRP $499.99).
Submitted essays must be written by a teacher, administrator or compiled from student input. Essays must be no longer than 300 words and will be judged on originality, creativity, expressed need and / or creative uses for a document camera. Only one submission per classroom, teacher or administrator as multiple entries from one person or classroom will void the entry.
The contest begins on January 30, 2006 and all essays must be submitted before April 28, 2006. Winners will be chosen and notified by May 14, 2006, and prizes will be shipped within two weeks of winning notification.
