AVERMEDIA® RELEASES THE NEW AVERVISION300i PORTABLE DOCUMENT CAMERA
MILPITAS, CA - (MAY 9, 2005) – AVerMedia Technologies, Inc., the leading provider of digital multimedia and presentation technology, released the AVerVision300i portable document camera today. The AVerVision300i displays impressive presentations of black and white and color documents, 3-D objects and photos. This lightweight, user friendly model features 1/3” CCD progressive scan image sensor with 850K pixel count and 8X digital zoom and pan. With RGB, DVI, S-Video and composite video outputs users can project documents and objects through LCD/DLP projectors, VGA monitors or televisions.
The AVerVision300i has advanced features such as built in memory capture, able to store up to 80 JPEG images. This feature allows the user to take still images with the document camera and transfer them onto your PC via USB connection. In addition, the AVerVision300i includes PC Cam applications for image capture in either JEPG or BMP format and live video recording in AVI format. Teachers can capture science experiments in real time and either store or share the projected images with their class.
The AVerVision300i features multiple effects including nightview, image freeze, reverse, mirror and negative functions. The new AVerVision300i includes active VGA pass-through allowing users to toggle between camera and PC presentations even with the unit powered off. The patented four laser positioning pointers ensure that your object is set in the correct place for optimum viewing. The package comes with a full function remote control adding to the ease of the user’s presentation.
