AVerMedia Claims Top 3 Spot in Canadian System Builder’s Choice Awards
MILPITAS, CA - (May 24, 2006) – AVerMedia® Technologies, Inc., the leading provider of digital multimedia and presentation technology announced today that AVerMedia has been chosen as a Top 3 vendor to Canada’s System Builders at the System Builder’s Choice Awards (SBCA) on May 16, 2006 in Toronto, ON Canada. The SBCA Awards were produced by CRN Canada, XChange, ECN and e-Channel News. Nominated in the Video Systems category, AVerMedia shares the top three spots with ATI and nVIDIA.
The SBCA asked Canadian system builders to nominate and vote for the vendors they feel best support their efforts in Canada. With over 200 system builders voting in 18 categories, AVerMedia was chosen as a Top 3 vendor in the Video Systems category, nominated along with 13 other vendor/manufacturers.
AVerMedia’s nomination and award were directed to its Multimedia Products Division including Windows XP and MCE 2005 TV Tuner solutions. AVerMedia provides a full line of XP and MCE 2005 certified PCI, Mini PCI, Express PCI, USB and PCMCIA Cardbus TV Tuners including both analog and HD solutions.
