AVerMedia Launches AVerCPR Carefree Product Replacement Program Offering Immediate Replacement of Defective Products
MILPITAS, CA - (August 15, 2005) – AVerMedia® Technologies, Inc., the leading provider of digital multimedia and presentation technology announced today the launch of its new Carefree Product Replacement (AVerCPR) program. AVerCPR is designed to provide immediate product replacement upon the instance of any apparent defect. AVerCPR is available during the first year of the standard product warranty at no additional charge.
Upon verification of a warranty claim, AVerMedia will immediately ship a comparable replacement unit to the customer via 3-day courier service. AVerMedia will then arrange for pick-up of the non-functioning unit and cover all shipping costs. All replacement products shipped will become the property of the customer as the non-functioning products will become the property of AVerMedia and will not be returned to the customer. Any remaining warranty will be automatically rolled over to the replacement product.

The AVerCPR program currently applies to the AVerVision330 document camera, but will steadily roll out to other document camera, multimedia and security products in the future. Only the product itself will be covered by the AVerCPR warranty as product accessories will be covered by their individual stated warranties.

The AVerCPR replacement program is available now for the AVerVision330 document camera. There is no cost for this program as it is included in the standard product warranty.
