AVerMedia® To Offer Six New Hardware Compression TV Tuners
for Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2004-Based PCs
MILPITAS, CA - (September 30, 2003) - AVerMedia®, a leading global manufacturer of PC TV Tuners, today announced it is supplying six new TV Tuner solutions for Windows XP Media Center Edition 2004 to Media Center PC manufacturers. AVerMedia has created five new PCI cards -the M150-NTSC, M172-NTSC for US, M150-PAL for Europe, M155 NTSC-J (Low Profile) and M175-J (High Video Quality with 3D Comb and Ghost Reducer) for Japan - as well as a new USB 2.0 external or notebook tuner that works with Windows XP Media Center Edition 2004.
AVerMedia provides customers with updated support for the enhanced features of Windows XP Media Center Edition 2004 such as FM tuning and remote control access to media recording settings. AVerMedia works closely with top tier OEM suppliers in the design of MCE 2004 Systems.
