Hi!. I'm new here.
I connected a standard RCA sound output from another equipment to the Speedy line-in. I can hear many sound amplitude chopping clicks. If the same RCA output is connected to equipment other than Speedy gives no problem. It seems that Speedy line-in only accepts very low amplitude level and then the output amplitude is very low if the line-in level is reduced to avoid the clicks.
I'd like to know the maximum line-in peak input level. I can measure the applied level and check if it exceeds this maximum.
Also when this RCA output is connected to the Speedy line-in and the Avermedia software is closed I still can hear the RCA output at low level. Is this normal? Maybe it's due to an excessive Speedy line-in level? Has anybody a similar problem? I asked Avermedia Spain but they don't know this level, and only could suggest me to remove all Avermedia software and driver and to install the latest ones. I did, but the problem is still there.
My OS is XP x86 SP2, and the hardware is Asus P5Q deluxe mainboard(deluxe only because its many usb ports...), 3.5GB of RAM, too much HD, Asus EN9800GT 1GDDR3 VGA, etc.
Thank you in advance. |
