AVERMEDIA® LAUNCHES ANNUAL AVERVISION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
AVerMedia to Award AVerVision Scholarships to Outbound High School Seniors Entering Colleges and Universities

MILPITAS, CA - (November 13, 2007)
AVerMedia® Technologies, Inc., the leading provider of digital multimedia and presentation technology, announced today the launch of the AVerVision annual scholarship program for outgoing high school seniors. The $5,000 scholarship will be awarded to one chosen high school senior entering an accredited four-year college or university, the first to be awarded to a 2008 graduating senior.

Applications will be accepted starting November 6, 2007 with the winner announced on May 12, 2008. Open to all US-based High School Seniors graduating in 2008 who are applying to US-based accredited four year colleges and universities. High School seniors are asked to complete the scholarship application located on the AVerMedia – USA website, provide an official academic transcript, a professional resume (including personal information, job history, extra curricular activities, charities, etc.), and letters of recommendation from two teachers, past or present.

Furthermore, since AVerMedia Technologies is focused on maintaining a sustainable and healthy environment, as well as supporting social causes, applicants must submit a one page essay describing how they have made a positive difference in social or environmental issues, and how they plan to contribute towards a sustainable future.

Included with the $5,000 scholarship award for the student, the two teachers who provide letters of recommendation for the chosen winner will be awarded a new AVerVision document camera. Document Camera awards will be shipped within 30 days following the announcement of the scholarship winner.
