- Image Verification (Watermark) software released please download from this page.

- A Hard disk to Hard disk software tool has also been released to support easier backup of essential recording.  You can also use the QLogViewer software to review the backed up data

- Please download an install the playback software version 1.5.0.0012 as well

- [HW] The DVR unit supports 2 video output ports but you can only select ONE to output the video at any given time.  Please DO NOT connect both VGA OUT and VIDEO OUT at the same time.

- [HW] Each time you change the video display output, the power must be UNPLUGGED and PLUGGED in again to reset.

- [HW] Please set the jumper of the HDD as Master when there is only one HDD in the DVR

- [Limitation] Before turning on the EB1504MPEG4, please plug in at least one camera into the 1st channel.

- [Limitation] If you plugged in the power cord too quickly, some monitors might show vertical bars on the screen.  Please unplug and plug in the power cord again and the screen should become normal.

- [Limitation] The audio channel is only bundled with channel 1.  You will hear the audio when the screen is in QUAD screen or FULL screen in CH1.  There would be no audio when you use Autoscan on display however the audio stream is still being recorded in Autoscan mode.

- [Limitation] When Audio Mute is set to ON that means the whole system is muted.  If you want to hear audio from recorded video, please choose Audio Mute OFF.

- Please select either the VGA output or the TV output for video output. 

- The EB1504MPEG4 provides two different ways of video display output, VGA output or TV output.  You can only select either one of them while setting up the EB1504MPEG4 system. 

- If you need to change the video output display, these are the steps needed:
	1. Unplug the power connector first
	2. Select new video output display
	3. Plug in the power connector again 

- Please set the jumper of the Hard drive (HDD) as Master if there is only one HDD in the DVR.

- EB1504MPEG4 will automatically select NTSC as video mode if there is no camera connected before power on. 

- The audio function comes together with CH 1 so you can hear sound only when the system is set to Quad mode or CH1 full screen. Though you don't hear any sound during the Auto Scan display mode, Audio recording is still activated normally. 

- Please select Audio Mute OFF if you would like to have sound recorded. 
 
- Depending on the cameras connected to the EB1504MPEG4, you can go to the Main Menu -> Submenu -> Video Adjustment -> Color Phase, and press Mode 1 or Mode 2 to select the most suitable video enhancement scheme.      

- Under the PAL mode, you can enable “Color Stability” in the list of Submenu to improve color-biased.

- Version 1.5 doesn’t support motion detection and this will be included in the next release version 2.x.
